About the Event
You will begin by lying comfortably in Savasana pose on a yoga mat with any pillows or blankets you may need. The teacher will guide you through a detailed meditation. This will allow you to experience a feeling of being half asleep. It is a state of consciousness between being awake and being asleep. Yoga Nidra begins with relaxation of body, mind and spirit where you become conscious and observing. Reducing stress & anxiety, in this state you begin to conserve energy removing fatigue and rejuvuneting the brain which improves memory and concentration. We will end with a blessing of lavender essential massaged on the forehead. The class is limited to 10 people to allow for social distancing.
