Zentangle

A Zentangle is a miniature abstract work of art.  The "zen" represents the intention to work while in a meditative state. The "tangle" refers to the use of line, shape, and pattern to fill in the spaces.  The Zentangle artwork is not meant to be displayed, sold, or used for any specific goal (although you may do any of that if you like).  The purpose of this art activity is to find relaxation, mindfulness, and to become immersed in the present moment. 

After a short introduction explaining the techniques and process, you will be given time to create you own zentangle artwork.  Because simple line and shape patterns are used, this artform is easy for people of all levels of art skill.  

All supplies will be provided.
