Service Description

Reiki (universal life force energy) is a safe, gentle, and deeply relaxing non-intrusive hands on healing technique. Children love having Reiki and soak it up like a sponge. Reiki can benefit children in many ways. It can help babies with colic, reflux, teething, and it can help them to sleep better. Reiki can help older children with attention problems, learning disabilities, and challenging family dynamics by rebalancing the energy field. By promoting relaxation and stress reduction, Reiki can help with reducing a child's temper tantrums, irrational fears, anxiety, depression, sleep problems, illnesses, injuries, as well as the more challenging problems that children with special needs face. As children's bodies are much smaller, the treatments will also be shorter, around 30 mins or less. All children under 16 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during treatment. At no time are they to be left alone with a Reiki practitioner. Consent for a healing session is needed by both parent and child. We recommend a distance Reiki session, if your child is under the age of 5 years old. Please simply let us know it will be a distance session in the "Message" section on the booking form.
