Terms + Conditions
By booking a session, service, class, event, or retreat with Sanctuary with Ashley and/or Sanctuary Reiki Center (“Provider”), I (“Client”) understand and agree to the following:

Cancellations + Rescheduling
Appointments are reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, email notice is required at least 24 hours before your scheduled session.
Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in 50% of the session fee being forfeited, with the remaining 50% applied toward one rescheduled appointment.
No-shows will forfeit the full session fee and are not eligible for a refund or credit.
I understand that all sessions, services, classes, events, and retreats are holistic and spiritual in nature. These services are intended to support relaxation, emotional well-being, and personal growth. They are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, diagnosis, or professional therapy. Provider does not diagnose conditions or guarantee outcomes.
I understand that I am responsible for my own physical, emotional, and mental well-being during and after sessions. I will communicate any discomfort and may stop a session at any time. I agree to seek appropriate medical or psychological care when needed.
I understand that every person responds differently and that Provider makes no guarantees about results, healing, outcomes, or experiences.
I am voluntarily participating in these services and assume all risks associated with them. To the fullest extent allowed by Illinois law, I release and hold harmless Provider from any liability, claims, injuries, damages, emotional responses, or losses arising from participation in any session, class, event or retreat.
I understand that my personal information will be kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law or safety concerns.
If I attend a community or private retreat, I understand that I am responsible for my own safety and emotional well-being.
For online appointments, I understand that:
• I must be in a safe, private, stable environment during the session.
• I am responsible for my own internet connection, audio, video, and technology.
• If the session cannot continue due to my technology issues, the session may not be extended or refunded.
• I understand that emotional release can still occur during virtual sessions, and I am responsible for ensuring I am in an appropriate emotional state and setting to participate.
• Provider is not responsible for my surroundings, environment, interruptions, or emotional state during or after virtual work.
If I choose to use or be placed on the Crystal PEMF + Far Infrared + Red Light mat (“Grounding Crystal Mat”) during any in-person session, or retreat, I acknowledge that:
• Use of the Crystal Mat is completely voluntary and at my own risk.
• I have been informed that the Crystal Mat uses Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF), Far Infrared, and Red Light frequencies, which may cause warming, tingling, shifts in circulation, or energetic effects.
• I have disclosed any medical conditions, pregnancy, implanted medical devices (e.g., pacemaker, defibrillator, insulin pump), heart conditions, metal implants, seizures, or other health concerns to Provider.
• I understand that the Crystal Mat is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
• I agree that Provider is not responsible for any physical, emotional, circulatory, neurological, or other reactions I may experience as a result of using the Grounding Crystal Mat.
• I voluntarily release and hold harmless Provider from any liability, claims, injuries, damages, or losses related to my use of the Grounding Crystal Mat, including but not limited to any adverse effects, discomfort, or medical complications.
By checking the box at checkout and completing my booking, I confirm that:
• I am at least 18 years old
• I have read and understand this Client Consent Agreement
• I voluntarily agree to receive services from Provider
• I release Provider from all liability to the fullest extent permitted by law
